I am currently developing my first Team Fortress 2 map with valve’s Hammer Editor. The arena style map is set in an alpine mountain side, with a river flowing down the middle. It is larger than your average arena map, designed with a full server 24 slot server in mind. It has a spacious feel to it and many alternative paths. The intention behind the many paths was to distribute the battles around the map as opposed to have one single confrontation point. The survivors of these battles get drawn together at the cap point. It is currently still in the alpha phase as I want to give it as much play testing as possible to ensure its success before moving on to making it pretty.

*UPDATE 28th July:
The map has been converted to a Capture The Flag style of gameplay and renamed to ctf_auric_ascent_a1, I will upload some new pictures soon, the pictures below are from the previous arena version. I have also been working on an Pyro Tennis map and a sourcemod plugin to work with it.
